It may 'TARRY'
'Humility is not a weakness but power' President John Evans Atta Mills
On tuesday the 24th of July,2012 the nation Ghana were befallen of a great man who was probably not well known before his death but is described to be decent man, modest and reticent to the point of dullness.
John Atta Mills was born on July 21 1944 in the town of Tarkwa in what was then the British Crown Colony of Gold Coast. He was 13 when his homeland became the first colony in sub-Saharan Africa to achieve independence in 1957 as the new nation of Ghana.
Mills was, at heart, an academic rather than a politician. After graduating in Law from the University of Ghana in 1967, he spent most of the 1970s in Britain, studying first at the London School of Economics and then taking a doctorate at the School of Oriental and African Studies.
He returned home in the 1980's and joined the political which he later became the flagbearer. After that he went on to lose two presidential elections before gaining power in 2008. Mills was often accused of being a puppet of those more capable and outgoing than himself. He never quite emerged from the shadow of Jerry Rawlings, Ghana’s flamboyant military ruler for almost two decades, whom Mills served as a suitably deferential vice-president.
Though infamous as a strong leader his words of wisdom made him perhaps the most humbled man one would ever know. Though 'it may tarry' his legacy will not be forgotten.
He indeed stated that 'humility is not weakness but power' and that is the legacy which will lead on.
Mills, who had been suffering from throat cancer, is survived by his wife, Ernestina, and one son.
John Atta Mills, born July 21 1944, died July 24 2012

LATEST RUNDOWN FROM THE 'BOX'
Hugh Jackman will return to Sydney this August to shoot The Wolverine, in which he will reprise his role of the gruff, metal-clawed, muscled-up mutant.
The Wolverine is the latest instalment in the X-Men franchise and the sequel to spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was filmed in New South Wales in 2008.
Jackman says he is excited to return to Australia.
"It will be great to work with the highly talented crew and to provide employment opportunities to so many people across all levels of the industry," he said in a statement.
"Not to mention, (wife) Deb and I will get to spend some time with the family back in Australia."
The news comes after rewrites of the script by Total Recall writer Mark Bomback, and will focus on Jackman's character searching for clues to his past in the Japanese underground.
The movie was originally meant to be shot in Japan, but the earthquake and tsunami put the production on hold.
It is not the only setback The Wolverine has encountered, with Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky walking away from the movie last March.
Aronofsky said he did not want to leave his family for more than a year during the overseas shoot.
James Mangold is now helming the project.
The Wolverine is scheduled for release on July 26, 2013 in both the UK and US.
It’s almost 100% safe to say that Chris Tucker aka “Smokey” will be apart of the final installment of the film franchise ‘Friday’ with co-stars Ice Cube, Mike Epps and family!
Although there has not been too much information revealed about the film, we’re led to believe that the title will be “Last Friday” and should be in theaters sometime next year. We can’t wait!
Stay tuned for more information about the movie…

LOL COZ U CAN
Johnny walked into class with a black eye;
Teacher: what’s wrong?
Johnny: our house is very small.
Me, my mom, and my dad we sleep on the same bed.
Last night my dad asked, 'Johnny are u sleeping?
When I said No, he slapped my face and gave me a Black eye!"Teacher: the next time when your dad asks if you're sleeping, keep dead quiet and don’t answer.
The following morning Johnny comes back with a severe+ SEVERE + black eye again..
Teacher: My goodness why the black eye again?
Johnny: Dad asked me again, Johnny are you sleeping?
And I shut up n kept dead still. Then my dad and my mom started moving, you know at the same time Mom was breathing erratically, Kicking her legs up frantically and squealing like a hyena on the bed.
Then my dad asked my mom, are you coming?
Mom said: Yes I’m coming, are u coming too?
Dad answered: Yes!!!
They don’t usually go anywhere without me so I said, wait for me, I'm also coming...LMAO

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"
Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I Understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about." The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."

VODAFONE GHANA MUSIC AWARDS (VGMA)
Take 3,2,1 and its show and guffs time at the 13th annual VGMA at the DOME inside accra, Ghana. Unarguably one of the best events in Ghana, the VGMA kicked off with so much anticipation and as usual tv ratings peaked to its highest level ever since the origin of the event.
Lets detail the event under
1.REDCARPET/FASHION
love first kicked in the air as fans were intrigued to see the Ayigbe Edem and Confidence Haugen reunion on the redcarpet which pretty much did set the whole redcarpet feeling into motion. Hence this reunion eventually overshadowed Haugen's blasting of the Queens language and also her inability yo handle the interviews.
This year’s redcarpet was more of a mixtape relaese as people braced the event with a mix bag of fashion, glamour, swag and the almighty Azonto fused in one. We also saw big guffs of inexperienced and comical presenters who half of the time did not know what they doing.
Also songwriter and singer Becca showed her long sexy legs and a touch of dressing elegance which i must admit got me salivating. The media 'triathlon' funnyface was also there instyle and lived up to his showbiz name as well. Let just say this year’s Awards was another display of the finest fashion and stars clamored to wear the latest as we will expect them to. 2.PERFORMANCES Wasn't really there in person but sources say it was not the best. Performances was a total mess which included the Artist of the year Sarkodie, songwriter and singer Efya and others. I guess it still hasn't sunk into the ears of show organisers to at least have a rehearsal before showtime. Other guffs include programme schedule and MCing. People paid good money for the show but did not get one. 3.AWARDS like every single year it gets 'tippy tappy'with some allocated awards but since we did not organize the event hence we have to agree to whatever is presented. Below is the full list of award winners

Gay Pulse
Since the existence of creation it has been noted that at the centre of the earth stands humanity’s ideology of discovering the distinction between “the personal troubles of milieu’ and ‘the public issues of social structure’. To be gay(personal identity) and not be accepted by society(social structure) is by some means a common trend which is seen in todays society. We are faced by the constant bashing of GAY MARRIAGE rights within ourselves and the society at large. Law makers sit at the top of this list.
There is some form of mould in which humans are obliged to pour out their actions and thus to say that what we hear people say or the way they act is not necessarily what really makes them but rather there could be a probability of their actions been influenced by a situation. We might have friends and families who might be gay and sometimes find it very difficult to comprehend this act of gaeity within ourselves and let alone publicly associate with them. But because of the connection shared we are forced to relate with them on that level, hence we are left the issue of “the personal troubles of milieu’ and ‘the public issues of social structure’.
Now in the kingdom animalia, homo sapiens are considered to be at the apex of the order and that means that our ability to think and act outweighs those at the bottom of the order. My question is, how is it that some people choose to be gay then? Because i do not believe that even the living things like other animals which we consider to be less smarter would mate each other thus a male sexing another male. Looking at the fundamentals of sex and marriage, sex is meant for the process of reproduction and the definition of marriage is between a male and a female but unfortunately this is the idea which we shy away from when questioned about. Personally i am not against anyone been gay, but i must say i am against the act of gayness. It is funny how certain christians and religions question Gods love for everyone yet condemns gay people in to hell fire. Whether from a religious or an atheist view just look at the perspective of sex and marriage and tell me if gay people live up to any of these categories.
